I know things have been a little quite around here. Sorry about that. Life is just moving right along. Nothing much out of the ordinary...except...
My first ever chiropractic appointment.
I am coming up on my 15th service anniversary at work. That is 15 years of sitting at a desk, doing the same thing over and over and over. It's finally starting to take a toll on my body. THAT..and I'm getting old. lol. Anyway, my shoulder and neck had really started to bother me. Very sore, very tense..all the time. No matter what I did, I couldn't get any relief from the tension.
So, I took the leap and booked a chiropractic appointment.
I'll be honest, I was a little nervous. I had never heard anyone speak badly about a chiropractic adjustment. BUT, I just wasn't sure what to expect.
I am happy to report that my first adjustment (and second adjustment, that was today) went well. I was surprised that the adjustment didn't hurt, at all..not even a little. After only one visit, the tension in my shoulder and up my neck is gone. And even though I'm not claiming that it was some voodoo that magically cured me, I am amazed. I'm not 100% better, but I am already much better than I was.For that reason alone, I think I can put a little faith in this whole Chiropractic stuff.
It's not voodoo, it can and does work, but like all professions, the ability of the individual practioner does vary somewhat. That said, they all had to pass rigorous education and testing and take continuing ed classes, etc, to prove that they have achieved a certain standard. (Vicki)
