Now and Then

Sometimes...I'm still amazed that I can look down and see my feet. I know I keep saying that...but it's true. I had resigned myself to looking like this..

Here it is three years later, I've maintained my weight..this whole lifestyle change is no longer a change...but just how things are done. And I successfully completed my first official 5k this weekend.

Now, don't get me wrong. I haven't suddenly fallen in love with working out. I don't like running. I still love chocolate...a lot. I have flab and stretch marks. I'm a size 12. I can't touch my toes. I use regular sugar in my coffee.

But, I can see my feet. And for me..that is enough.

    And I felt the same way the first time I lost my weight.
    I'm a size 14 and i was 18 once. I bet if I could exercise more I would be able to take it down a notch :)

    And regular sugar is better for you than that fake stuff. true facts.
