How long do pumpkins usually last before they start to rot? I was going to buy some today but I didn't want it to rot before I could carve it for Halloween. -shannon
I think as long as you leave them uncarved pumpkins can last for months. If you want to carve them for Halloween you would be ok with buying them right now.
