Yadda, Yadda, Yadda

"Writing is a socially acceptable form of schizophrenia." ~ E.L. Doctorow

1. Today is the first day of this crazy little thing called NaBloPoMo. A post for every single day for this month. I did it last year, and what fun it was. I found a ton of interesting blogs that I am still following. So, y'all have fun watching me try and keep this commitment. OR, join in...if you think you can handle it.

2. We didn't get one single trick or treater last night. Not...one. Granted, we turned the lights off and closed the curtains around 8:15, but still. Even before that, before it got dark out, not one little ol' trick or treater. What the heck am I going to do with all this candy?

3. Not that I am in a panic...yet...but I have started thinking about my skin care. Or lack there of. I don't really take care of it like I should. My skin is ok. It's started to discolor just a little on my cheeks. But nothing to freak out about. Actually I was looking at pictures of when I had just graduation high school and from the beginning of this year. Besides a little more cushion in my cheeks I look pretty much the same. However, I do want to start some sort of skin care routine. Something simple, inexpensive, and that covers all the bases. Exfoliation, toning, moisturizing, and wrinkle control. Any suggestions? I'm all ears.

4. And that sort of ties in with my hair situation. I cannot seem to find a shampoo/conditioner combo that my hair is happy with. My hair is...tempermental. It demands a shampoo that throughly cleans it, but a conditioner that keeps my ends from drying out. I have oily skin, which doesn't end at my hair line. So, my roots tend to be oily. I want my hair to be soft and clean, and have movement. Right now its just flat..and static-y...and oily at the roots. Bleck. Again, any suggestions? Please y'all..I need some serious help here. My husbands buzz clipper is looking pretty good at this point. SAVE MY HAIR!

Try Tea Tree oil shampoo. my hair is the same way. At Sally's they have a generic of Paul Mitchell's tea tree shampoo and it is amazing!
