The Duchess

This is Duchess, a beautiful German Shepherd that has been part of the family for many years now. She is a great dog. She is very loyal. She loves to go camping, or on a car ride anywhere. She loves to sing. She is afraid of thunder and fire works. She has very soulful eyes and she can mooch food with the best of them.


Lately, her back legs haven't been working so well. I think we all get the feeling that she might not have much time left. Although she has lived a very full life, giving us as much love as we have given her, it's always hard to say goodbye to a family member.


So, we will cherish her as long as she is here with us. And remember her forever after she has left.
