I definitely relate, and my list of three things would probably be very similar to yours.

The thing about fear is that my mind understands why it's irrational, or why it "doesn't matter" or whatever, but I have a hard time getting past it. I had to talk myself into being okay with going to the book signing on Saturday, because I was so worried - how big would the crowd be, will I find a parking place, I look like crap what will these people think, what if I get one of those random bouts of pregnancy sickness while I'm there... and on and on and on.

My mother would tell you I've always tried too hard, and wanted too much for things to be perfect. I think there might be something to that, again even though my brain understands the fallacies of that line of thought.

I think I'm probably just weird.

I'm right there with you on number three. I'm married to someone who is insanely passionate about his career, and I just don't have the drive he has. I don't have to work as hard as he does, but I also don't get the excitement he does.
I'm working on it though, trying to create something to be passionate about. I just don't know if it'll work.

am i still a lurker if i comment? i probably found you linked on another blog. I haven't been blogging that long, but i have been reading you basically since i started blogging. I come back because your blog reminds me a bit of my own...a bit of a random mix of things, and i like that. My face is not on the side as a follower ( i don't evn know how o do that) I use google reader and all the blogs i follow are just on there. I like the posts where you show new clothes that you have bought! haha

Love the pictures...especially the top one with the bunny ears. (It is VALENTINE's DAY, not EASTER!!!) My daughter tried that once, in a formal picture taken in the courtroom on the day she was adopted. The whole family is smiling pretty and she give the judge bunny ears. Too bad we only took 1 shot!!!

Hmmm, I'm not entirely sure I remember how I found you, but I've been reading for a while. I used to comment more often, but then I got pregnant and had a baby, and kind of lost my commenting mojo. Oops.

I do have a blog, which used to be a photo/random ramblings type blog, but has turned into a mommy/random ramblings/occasional photo blog. Mostly I just spew whatever is in my head at any given moment :-)

Apparently you've requested that people break the "Lurker Rule" and they refuse, but I will dive in. I have no idea how I found your blog. Been reading as long as I can remember - a year, or two. I come back because I love the relationship between you and Jeremy. I can feel the love you share thru the words and photos. I keep hoping to find that kind of love in my life. Even after a few broken hearts (and breaking a few) I'm still looking. I love reading about life in other parts of the country and world. I blog but not with any regularity and the random crazy things that cross my mind or my life. I'll return to lurking.
